40th-Edition Open House
Registration encouraged, but not required.
Join us for a special 40th anniversary edition of Open House. Along with an opportunity to roam the various buildings of our campus, meet current Artists, and experience works in progress, the day will feature performances by Headlands Alumni, including jazz musician Beth Custer (AIR ’98, ’91), and dance collective Fog Beast. Stop by the Project Space installations by Artists in Residence Hannah Jayanti and Weston Teruya, grab lunch from the Mess Hall, and join us for a birthday toast at 5:30PM.
Schedule of Events (subject to change; stay tuned for additional details)
- 12:30–1:30PM, The Gym: Beth Custer (AIR ’98, ’91) performs a solo composition reflecting on the beauty of the Gym itself and its place within the broader context of Headlands Center for the Arts
- 1PM, The Commons: Performance and refreshments by Whitney Vangrin
- 2–4PM, Project Space: Performance by Hannah Jayanti & Alexander Porter
- 2PM and 4PM, The Eastwing: Performance by Fog Beast
