While at Headlands

While at Headlands I’ll be focused on creating Black ritual spaces for communal gathering and movement. I will be inviting many artistic collaborators to move and create in this space with me. When not in movement, you can find me in my studio talking to ghosts and sanding blackwood.

Artist Statement

I am a Nigerian-American chef and multimedia artist working in food, film, photography, sculpture and installation. I work collaboratively with Black/queer and trans artists to make work centered in community care and activism, African diasporic storytelling and Black queer/trans liberation.
