Brian Anderson, MD, MSc is a psychiatrist at the University of California San Francisco where he studies psychedelic medicines. He has also trained in medical anthropology and has conducted ethnographic research with ayahuasca-drinking communities and 12 step recovery groups for Latinxs. His current work focuses on palliative care and addiction.
