Come roam the various buildings of our campus, engage with Artists in their studios, experience new work and works in progress, see performances, hear readings, and stay for a homemade lunch in the Mess Hall.

Parking is limited! If you can, we encourage you to carpool or to take the bus. More info on transportation and directions here.

Erin Wilson’s (AFF ’13-’14) poems use traditional librarian tools like annotated bibliographies and indexes as disruptions revealing the collaboration and subjectivity necessary for the creation of texts.

3 x 10 – Three Headlands writers each give 10-minute readings.

  • Cecilia Ballí (AIR ’14) is a writer from Texas most known for her long-form journalism abut the U.S.-Mexico border.
  • Hazel White (AFF ’14) is a poet; her current project is about Battery 129 and is taking place on Facebook. 
  • Sarah Wisby (AIR ’14) states: “I am an exceptional person, possibly a saint or a genius, but probably neither, marred by bad habits and nearing middle age, and quite poor compared to my millionaire neighbors.”

May Wilson (AFF ’14) presents Trouble With Telling: Two hanging ladders mark Headlands’ buildings for mischief. The work is about the explorer making tools for herself to find answers. Some make more sense than others.
