Artist Statement
My primary objective as a writer is to contribute to the body of fiction that addresses the complexity of the experiences of people of African descent throughout the diaspora. 

While at Headlands
While at Headlands I will be working on a novel that is, at base, a creative exploration of the feeling of exile experienced by those who have been designated as “other” in their home countries.
