Under the Stars – EVENT CANCELED
Event Canceled
We are saddened to share that, due to the poor air quality in the Bay Area, we are canceling the Under the Stars event scheduled for tomorrow evening, Friday 11/16. The air in the Marin Headlands has deteriorated over the past few days, with no sign of improvement tomorrow. The safety of our staff, artists, volunteers, and guests is our highest priority, and it is with this understanding that we’ve decided to cancel the season closing event. We will be issuing refunds to all ticket holders today and tomorrow.
Help us close out the year with an evening of art by 2018 Headlands Artists, including live music, performance, storytelling, cinema, and installation. The Project Space exhibitions will be open, along with other installations inside our Main Building. Performances and screenings will take place in the Eastwing of Building 944; seating will be cozy, so feel free to bring floor cushions or beach chairs. Delicious Vietnamese food prepared by Little Window will be available for purchase in the mess hall, including fried rice bowls, Pho noodle soups, and fresh spring rolls.

Presentations begin at 7PM, but attendees are welcome to arrive as early as 6:30PM to view the exhibitions in the third-floor Project Space, purchase food and drink, and get situated. If you’ve already purchased a ticket and have questions about the event, email info@headlands.org.
