Sarah Rosenthal has written four books of poems and edited a collection of interviews with Bay Area writers titled A Community Writing Itself. More than fifty of her poems and sixty-five of her reviews, essays, and interviews have been published in national and international magazines and literary journals. In her most recent manuscript, Tipperary, the poems are grounded in interiority; they explore cognition and the development of a sense of self. She holds an MFA from San Francisco State University and a BA from Brown University.
