Ginelle Hustrulid works primarily in film and video. Her work constructs conversations between subjects using images of abstracted and fragmented bodies. She combines projection, sculpture, super 8, and digital video to address notions of the physicality of space and the human capacity for the tactile sense. She projects footage onto clothing, furniture, and other objects, creating anthropomorphic objects and installations. Ginelle received a BFA in Painting from Pacific Northwest College of Art. Her work was an Official Selection of the Rencontres Internationales Film Festival Paris/Berlin in 2004.
