Christopher Gray investigates the relationships between sculpture, painting, and performance. His work has included sculptures that speak, gesture, or sing. He also produces sound installations and creates videos of his performances. More recently, he has returned to object-based works, largely prompted by the natural surroundings of Marin's mountains and coastal areas. Gray received his MFA from Rhode Island School of Design, and his BFA from Carnegie Mellon University.
