Colette Campbell-Jones is a photographer who addresses ideas of cultural memory, collective consciousness, story telling, and psychological processes. She incorporates notions of myth and legend as sites of cultural and collective meaning-making structures. Her recent work deals with the rich oral histories of Welsh coal mining valleys. She received her MFA in photography from the San Francisco Art Institute, and a BA in psychology from San Francisco State University.
