Artist Statement

Jesse Schlesinger is a visual and social practice artist residing in San Francisco. He works in a variety of media, including sculptural installation, photography, and drawing. In his buildings and installations Jesse works with a hand-made aesthetic. Utilizing foraged urban and natural materials and found objects, he creates sculptural dwellings. Both private and public, these dwellings explore how we inhabit and contemplate space.
